Mailing list problem

Mailing list problem

Postby cedric » Wed Jul 05, 2017 11:43 am

Hi,

Still me :)

I have a problem with the mailing list, when I set up a mailing list called all@mydomain.com with all my emails on it, about 50, I cannot send email with it, nothing happens.

I have read the manual to do the configuration and this is quite simple (name, domain, email addresses ; auto-options disabled), but I cannot use it.

I checked and this is not a problem with the spam service.

Do you have any idea ? Maybe I forgot something...

System :
- Windows server 2012 R2 version 6.3.9600
- Hardware : Lenovo x3550 M5
- Ability mail : Version 4.2.1 Professional edition

Thank you,

Cédric

Mailing lists by default (recommended) have a Subject Trigger Phrase which you have to include in the subject of the email to authenticate sending to the mailing list. The Subject Trigger Phrase is stripped out before delivery.

Hi,

Thank you this is perfect, I did not know the word "trigger", sorry for that and thank you again.

Obviously we recommend changing the Subject Trigger Phrase as this is equivalent to a password for mailing list authentication.
