e-mail dates

Postby DTower5 » Tue Aug 19, 2008 2:22 am

I recently transferred my AMS install to another box, and in the process the dates of my users e-mails have been reset to the transfer date and time - when I move over fresh copies with the correct dates and times, and put them in the users folder, it still does not recognize the correct dates, is there a way I can fix this? Thanks

It turns out it just takes 15-20 minutes for the new dates to kick in, which begs another question - where is this time value set in the program, or is it hard coded?

The dates of users emails is basically held in the modified date of a the raw email files. Generally if you use windows file system to copy files, the modified date is maintained correctly, if you had used FTP, then these dates may have been altered to the copy date.
