Pop3 retrievals

Pop3 retrievals

Postby Jack » Tue Oct 02, 2007 6:05 am

Hi,

I'm trying to get the pop3 retievals to work in the user account area. I have the group set to allow them at logon and manually but it doesn't seem to be working for me. What am I missing?

In WebMail, click the POP3 retrieval button available from the Inbox to see if any errors are given. If none are given then it could simply be that your settings are wrong. In which case, go to the admin dialog interface and in the settings of the user edit each POP3 retrieval and use the Test Connection button to check for any obvious problems.

The connection has already been tested and worked with no errors.

Do I need to enable this somewhere else in the program that I missed before this can work?

Thanks, Jack

You need to enable the POP3 Retrievals service for this to work. If that is enabled, the group allows the user to use POP3 Retrievals and no errors are shown with the POP3 retrieval test then everything should work fine. Check the logs for any other errors given.
