Active Directory

With Ability Mail been aimed at enterprise level as well i be leave one very important feature is active directory integration or even the ability to use active directory for authentication, which most email servers for windows have now, including a free email server, if you are running a enterprise company with 100+ users, the administrator or users wont be wanting to update passwords on active directory and then ability mail server every 60 days, depending on there password policy. I would like this feature as well as it would save me a lot of time, but luckily i dot have 100+ users to look after.

This would be a very good new feature and is on our extensive list of feature requests.

I'll throw my hat in on this too, we use Jive Networks' OpenFire server for our internal instant messaging, taking advantage of AD integration for user account / password.

I guess I would be happier keeping group data in AMS itself (rather than defining those groups in AD) but that would be ok if necessary...

Thanks for your input. We'll review how this will work if we add it in later.
