Spam Filtering - Black List

Spam Filtering - Black List

Postby malcolmhum » Mon Jan 21, 2013 12:42 pm

I was wanting to black list all email addresses coming from a domain as they are ignoring unsubscribe requests.
In Spam Filtering > Black List> SMTP Sender Matches SMTP Sender (*s Allowed ) i put in the email address as a wild card *@progressiverecruitment.com. However i am still getting emails coming through. Is there a wildcard option / how should I express it.

Regards

Malcolm

That's the right way to block them. If you check your SMTP logs you should be able to see what SMTP sender the mail was sent from. If it's SPAM the sender may not match the From header field.
