File Store - Failure

Hello,

I have been trying to upload files to the filestore on my webmail.

I am trying to upload 3 files, 1x65Mb, 1x78Mb, 1x125Mb. I have enough space on the server hard drive and on my user profile to allow for this to be possible.

If I try to upload the 65Mb or 78Mb file, I do not have a problem (except it takes a long time!!!!!!), If I try to upload the 125Mb File, the server does not seem to like it and I get the standard Internet explorer error page as if the server cannot be found.

Suprisingly, I also get the same issue if I try to upload the 65Mb AND 78Mb file at the same time.

I remember reading something in the update log that the 100Mb limit for the file-store had been changed to the user-profile space.

Any ideas anyone?

We found that there was a HTTP limit of 100MB for file uploads and changed this to be a dynamic size removing the limit. This limit is now set by the Max Mail Size setting in the general settings and optionally further limited in the group settings. Make sure that these are set to allow more than 100MB which is the default value for the general settings.

Thanks for your help,

The max mail size is 20480Kb (20Mb)
The Max Account Size is: 262144Kb (256Mb)
The Group for this particular user account has no limitation on size.

I am sucessfully uploading files greater than the max mail size, but not anywhere near the 256Mb

Any other Ideas?

Try raising the general Max Mail Size to 200MB temporarily to check if I was right in this being the limiting factor.

Maybe it would be better to change this from the max mail setting to a global setting in the webmail configuration and/or in the group configuration settings?
