Simplified Chinese support

We have a client who sends and recieves a fair bit of mail in Simplified Chinese. They use webmail only.

She can click `encode' and then Chinese Simplified in webmail in order to read her Chinese emails. However If she then forwards them, they are corrupted.

I have a copy of an email that shows the characters fine. Then its forwarded around then it just shows corruption.

I am not 100% sure this is an AMS issue, but any pointers would be great.

Thanks Marc

When forwarding mails within WebMail, there are 2 methods available. By default the mail server will grab the text and place it in the compose body box. However, this can disturb and upset special character sets and in the case of HTML mails, remove the text. The better alternative in this case would be to forward as an attachment (this can enabled in the account options, accessible within WebMail). This will then cause the original mail to be attached to the new mail, and be unmodified.
