Shared Address Book control

Is there any way to force shared address book groups to be read only? I have several users who have taken a shared address book group intended for internal users and added entries from their own address list. Some claim they don't know how it happened

Shared Address Books are read only because they're edited by via admin settings only. You can add these to user groups to make the user have access to these Shared Address Books. Shared Address Book Groups on the other hand are created in the user settings but also editable by the user via WebMail settings.
