Time on AMS

Postby jazzy » Thu Mar 20, 2008 5:41 pm

Hi everyone,

I just noticed today and mail that goes through my mail server is an hour behind what it should be. If I send a mail to myself at another address (not an address on AMS) it appears as if I have gone back in time. Now I know that could be handy, but it also gets confusing.

Is there a time setting in AMS? Could it be related to the change in daylight savings time? My server has the right time. If there is anything I should check please let me know.

Thanks!

AMS takes its time from the system clock on your computer. I can't remember if daylight saving is taken into account but I think it is. It will be either your timezone or daylight saving time on your mail server or receiving mail client computer that needs altering to make this right anyway.
