Sending via AMS

Sending via AMS

Postby tminus1 » Tue Oct 16, 2007 1:28 pm

Hi everyone.
Just bought AMS and really like it.
When I use AMS as my outgoing mail server from a client I get the following return error.
"530 Recipient refused. The sender's domain requires authentication or is not a valid user."
What do I need to do to send mail via AMS.

Thanks
Tony

This is a result of the SPAM Filter "Sender Domain Check", and is basically that you have not correctly authenticated with the SMTP. The solution is simply to access your client settings and set it to login (authenticate) with your outgoing server (the SMTP).
