Slow Outgoing Emails

Hi Rob, all...

I just started sending mass emails this morning and it's been sending 40,000 emails since 8am and now it's 4:30 pm. There's still about 15,000 email in the queue. Right now I don't have any content or SPAM filters set and I know the connection is not an issue at all. Is there anything I can do to speed this, I'll be sending this many emails every morning.

Presently AMS is not optimised for bulk email transfers such as this, mainly due to most of the optimisation work being placed into areas handling user connections and account access (and of course normal mail receiving/sending). This does mean your options for increasing the transfer speed is limited, but I can fortunatly say that in the future we will be making this system for more efficient. We intend to release this with version 3 which is due later this year.
