Imap user bounced mail denied relay

[sillyme]

Recently a user configured as IMAP has had mail bounced back and relay permission denied. Below is a section from the logs that shows the first email accepted and the rest denied even though they were local and in the same domain. Could this be associated with the IMAP time out setting?

From what I can see he is not logging in to the SMTP server which could be why relaying is denied?

m1byo is correct, the recipients are being rejected by grey listing (SPAM Filter), which is normally disabled when a user logs into the SMTP. I would recommend that you request the user enable 'logging in to the outgoing server' in their mail client.
