emptying a huge inbox

Hi there,

One of my users left copies on server and now there are over 20k messages there. If I want to quickly delete all messages all I need is to simply empty his account's folder in the file system? Is there a way to do it via the admin interface and if not then do I need to do something in addition to emptying the folder?

You can quickly delete all the mails within a mail box by simply deleting the phsycial folder directly. However, logged in users may not notice this until they relog in. Another option is to simply access WebMail and simply 'Empty' the folder (Click on Edit Folders to access the option).
