Why Mail Users getting Disabled Frequently

Postby pagadala1 » Sun Jun 01, 2008 8:29 am

Hi,

I recently bought your product and trying to implement the mailing for my company, and experimenting the mail functionality, I created 2 users using WebMail Signup process, my users are getting disabled automatically, why this is happening I am not able to figure it out, everytime I enable the user after sending some mails and wait for some time WebMail auto logs out and user getting disabled I am using windows Vista.

Thanks,
Madhu.

The only way a user can be disabled automatically is if there is a settings error. By default, every 30 minutes will process and reload any changes from the settings. If for some reason the users.ini file appears to have changed, then the users will be reloaded. I would recommend examining the account logs has any automatically disablations will result in a 'Disabled due to settings error.' message being placed in the log.
